How I tested
I built two characters on a paid Candy account with the same creator answers, one in Anime and one in Realistic, then sent both the same set of image requests and chat openers. I came back the next day to check memory, and kept every character explicitly adult with an adult age, body and job.

The anime path walked me through the same steps as the realistic one. The difference shows up in the previews and in every image afterwards.
Anime styles can read younger than intended. Set an explicit adult age, an adult job and adult relationship framing. I skip any relationship labels that point to school or family, and I would suggest you do the same.
I found no switch to turn an existing realistic character into an anime one. If you want both, build two characters with the same answers, which is exactly what I did.

Both builds were Mira: 24, Asian, long black hair with bangs, athletic, Temptress personality, graphic designer. I sent each of them the same six requests in the same order.

Face and style consistency
Both versions kept Mira recognisable across requests, which is Candy's strongest suit in either style. The anime build was a touch more consistent, because simplified features give the model less to get wrong between shots, a problem we cover in our guide to character consistency in NSFW generators.
Prompt adherence
Outfits, colours and simple poses landed reliably in anime. Busy scenes with several props were where both styles started dropping details. One clear subject, one outfit and one setting per request gave the best results.
Artifacts
Hands and eyes are where generators show their seams. Anime hid most of that; the realistic build produced the odd wrong finger in complex poses. If you hate retries, anime saves you tokens here.
Chat, voice and video with an anime character
The chat underneath is the same engine for both styles. My anime Mira talked exactly like realistic Mira; the personality preset sets the tone, and the art style has no effect on it. If you want anime mannerisms, write them into her description and she will pick them up.
Of the nine voices, the lighter, more playful ones fit an anime character better than the deep, husky options. Candy says anime characters can send voice messages and generate videos like realistic ones; video costs noticeably more tokens than a selfie, so I kept it for the end of a session.
